| IMAGE LICENSING Rich actively manages his personal stock photo collection comprised of primarily mountain sports, leisure lifestyle, and landscape images. Every shoot has its own set of variables and costs. A thorough review of the client's needs is standard prior to establishing an estimate. In general, Rich's estimates outline two key fees: Production (Creative) Fees: This covers what's required to complete the entire project. Everything from pre-production planning to the shoot itself, shoot-specific expenses, and then post-production workflow right up to the final delivery of images to the client. Licensing Fees: This fee reflects the usage or value of images created during the assignment. License fees are determined by how the resulting images will be reproduced, distributed, and viewed. |
